The Edmonton Oilers reached back to their origins when they brought back their orange uniforms for the 2016 NHL Heritage Classic outdoor game in Winnipeg. As per the MeiGray population report, Milan Lucic’s game-worn alternate captain’s jersey saw action during the first period of the game, a 3-0 Oilers win against the Jets before a crowd of 33,240 at Investors Group Field on Oct. 23, 2016. The 2016 Heritage Classic Winnipeg patch is sewn on the right sleeve, and Size 58 and Elite Sportswear flag tags are in the back of the neck. Best of obviously light wear is a small mark near the cuff on the lower right sleeve.
Elite Edmonton Oilers Heritage Classic Set #2 team patch and Fanatics Authentic Game Worn barcode patch are sewn inside the right rear tail and MeiGray NHL Game-Worn patch with registry no. N02764 is sewn inside the right rear tail.
The MeiGray populate report states the jersey is an "Orange w/A - Heritage Classic 10/23/16 at Investors Group Field" and "NHL Set - Worn During Period 1 - 10/23/16 at Investors Group Field".
