Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

Some quite attractive/enticing cards are featured in this batch of 1953-54 Parkies, with several grades represented. The coveted Jean Beliveau rookie card and that of Gordie Howe have visible but not unsightly toning and are pleasing crease-free EX contributors, with a scarce Fleming Mackell (full bio) example EX-MT in our book. Rocket Richard (VG-EX) and RCs of Worsley (VG), Bathgate (EX) and Howell (EX) are notable, with Sawchuk, Lach and Arbour RC among ten creased cards. We would say VG-EX, VG-EX+ and EX cards outnumber VG and VG+ reps, with some higher/lower. PSA-graded highlights are 6-Boivin, 7-Kennedy and 12-Watson at NM-MT 8 and NM 7s of 26-Harvey and 52-Lindsay. The rest of the slabbed lowdown, further details and more photos are available on our website.
Also in recent PSA holders are 34-McCormack (NM 7), 16-Solinger (EX-MT 6), 41-Pronovost (EX+ 5.5), 17-Migay (EX 5) and four at VG-EX 4; 13-Horton (considerable toning), 15-Morrison, 28-Moore and 95-Godfrey. Other raw notables are 1-Lumley (VG+), 29-Geoffrion (VG), Sawchuk (G), 30-Lach/Richard (VG) and 46-Sawchuk (G). Varying degrees of toning, along with nice white borders, are observed throughout this pieced-together assembly that offers numerous possibilities. The cards are accompanied by a low grade Parkie album that has creases, tears and writing on the back cover, as well as 11 cardboard sheets.
