This purple and gold treasure worn by Triple Crown line sniper Charlie Simmer is a photo-matched 1981-82 mesh gamer fit for L.A. Kings royalty! Simmer scored 56 goals in each of consecutive 100-point seasons that landed him as the left wing on the NHL First All-Star Team in 1979-80 and 1980-81 when he, Dave Taylor and HOF center Marcel Dionne formed one of hockey’s most memorable offensive lines. There is a team repair on each sleeve of this photo-matched beauty from the Michael Wexler Collection, which has its original fight strap and surname letters sewn directly onto the upper back. There is an “X” marked in black ink on the upper left corner of the Goodman & Sons X-Large tagging in the back of the neck. Comes with an LOA.
This Simmer 1981-82 Kings game-worn jersey is photo-matched to undated Getty Images photo #84948352 by the black mark on the left sleeve near the "11" and the white mark across the first "1". There is an an additional photo match to an included digital photo from a magazine that shows the black mark on the left sleeve near the "11".
More game wear includes black marks, board burns and unrepaired burn holes on the sleeves, faint red board paint transfer on the left rear tail, and black marks and board burns on the white, gold and purple stretchy knit tails, which have an unrepaired burn hole in the front.
