Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Receiving a severe injury to his left pinky from a Sidney Crosby slash and with the digit described as “shattered” by his team, we have an Ottawa Senators “Heritage Set 1” jersey that was worn by Marc Methot while getting the two-hander, on March 23, 2017. A label with 58+ sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a vintage-style layered “O” team crest, “3” appears over the sleeves and verso in beige-over-black-over-red tackle twill, with alternate patches over each shoulder and the NHL centennial crest on the lower right sleeve. Board burns with small resulting holes are present over the lower left sleeve, with a small hole near the left elbow and large stick mark placed adjacently. There is also some pilling to the interior beneath the fight strap. A COA from the Senators will accompany.
