Turner Cup champions in 1968, the Muskegon Mohawks existed from 1965 to 1984, and served as affiliates of the New York Islanders. We have a circa 1972-73 Mohawks jersey that’s been attributed to Louis Frigon, with the Montreal native posting impressive numbers with the club, averaging just over a-point-a-game during his trio of seasons. Cosby and laundering labels are affixed to the collar, along with a “44” size tag. Styled with a gorgeous Indian head team crest in deep red with coloured feathers and “Mohawks” embroidered, the durene V-neck sports “7” over the sleeves and verso in red-over-blue tackle twill. With the colours all remaining bright and vibrant, there are a dark marks over the front and sleeves, with a few small holes near each elbow along with pilling.
