Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Selected by both major hockey leagues in 1973; in the second round of the NHL Amateur Draft and fourth round of the WHA Amateur Draft respectively, Peter Marrin would first spend a trio of season in Toronto with the Toros from 1973 to 1976 before an additional three season skating for Birmingham, beginning in 1976-77. From his final WHA season, we have a Bulls jersey worn by the Toronto native, in 1978-79. A Russell Athletic label is affixed to the collar, with the vintage durene sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 50. Featuring rubberized identifiers including the Bulls team crest, striping bands and numbers, “Marrin” appears over the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. The jersey remains in gorgeous condition with bright colours and just a few puck and stick marks visible, with wear to the rubberized bands over each sleeve.
