Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Celebrating the New York Yankees and The House that Ruth Built, we have a pair of New York Yankees locker room nameplates including an example for Andy Pettitte from the last game ever played at the original Yankee Stadium, on Sept 21st 2008 vs the Orioles. The second name plate is for Andy Phillips, with this example used during Game 4 of the 2007 ALDS vs the Indians, on Oct 8th. At 2” x 12”, each nameplate has the player’s name and number in white, with an image of Yankee Stadium on the Pettitte example. Both show some surface wear from handling, with clear tape over the reverse of the Pettitte nameplate. Holograms have been affixed to each from both Steiner and the MLB, with matching LOAs to accompany from the former.
