Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A Stanley Cup winner as a player with the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins, Bryan Trottier was also the recipient of the Calder in 1976 as the NHL’s freshest face. The Art Ross, Hart Memorial and Conn Smythe were also won by the Val Marie native, in just the span of two seasons. We have a Penguins alternate captain’s jersey that was worn by Trottier in 1993-94, his final NHL season. CCM labeling with handwritten “19” along with a size “52” fly tag sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with a textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with black tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with yellow trim, with “Trottier” over the nameplate in matching material.
Dark marks are visible over the front and sleeves, with pilling around the collar. There is also some glue staining within the interior behind the reverse numbers, with team repairs over the reverse and right sleeve.
