There were heavy hearts when the Bruins played their first home game after the Boston Marathon bombings. The Bruins wore a Boston Strong ribbon patch in the marathon’s blue and yellow colors and the Penguins wore a "617" patch representing Boston's area code. Seguin scored his 16th goal with three seconds left in a 3-2 loss at TD Garden on April 20, 2013 and then both sets of jerseys were auctioned off to raise money to support the victims of the bombings. Seguin signed in bold black marker on the “9” on the back of his photo-matched gamer, which has a MeiGray patch inside the tail and his No. “19” handwritten on the size 56 flag tag in the back of the collar. Comes with a Bruins LOA.
Seguin’s signed “Boston Strong” game-worn jersey is photo-matched by Getty Images #167100787 taken on April 20, 2013 to the loose thread on the team patch on the left shoulder as well as to the loose threads on the #19 on the left sleeve.
The jersey is a "Third - Boston Strong Patch - Promotional Game 4/20/13- Charity Set" according to the MeiGray population report.
