The New Jersey Devils were like a red, white and green Christmas present to the Garden State when they debuted in 1982-83. Making the trip with the relocated Colorado Rockies was forward Bob MacMillan, who wore this Devils No. 11 inaugural season gamer. Gerry Cosby tagging and Sandow SK and laundry intstruction flag tags sit in the back of the neck of the vented knit collar of this heavy mesh gamer. First-year style has Gerry Cosby and Sandow SK logos heat-screened in red vinyl on the tail and a white leather fight strap attached to the inner loop. This awesome Devils gamer, which is originally from the Rick "The Stick" Elaschuk collection and comes with Elaschuk’s signed LOA.
Game wear includes board burns on the sleeves, a few black marks on the white twill on the right side of the red, green and white multi-twill team crest sewn on the front, a few more marks to the right on the left front. A long white thread hangs from the left sleeve where the cuff stitching partially let go.
