Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Before his stellar career with the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers, Martin St. Louis played briefly for the Calgary Flames, who didn't fully appreciate what they had when they let him go as a free agent after leaving him exposed in the 2000 expansion draft. St. Louis' 1999-2000 Flames game-worn alternate jersey is from his rookie season, when he scored three goals and 18 points in 56 games, after scoring once in 13 games with Calgary in 1998-99. Nice game wear includes big black marks through the alternate crest on the front, black marks and board burns on the sleeves, and black marks on the front tail. Comes with a Flames LOA.
The “NHL 2000” patch worn league-wide in 1999-2000 is sewn on the right breast. Pro Player tagging and size 52 flag tags sit in the back of the neck. “Calgary Flames Hockey Club 1999-2000 Alternate Jersey #1 of 1” team patch is screened inside the rear hem.
