Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Hailing from a Mario Lemieux Foundation charity auction in 2006, we have a stick used by Sidney Crosby during his rookie campaign in 2005-06, and it’s been signed. A Sher-Wood Momentum model with 1050 Sher-wood blade, “Crosby 87” factory graphics appear on the textured shaft. The original black tape remains on the blade, along with the “ribbed-style” white tape on the handle and knob including handwritten “87”, with just light but definite use showing. There is a small rip to the blade’s tape from puck contact, along with some wear to the top side of the shaft of the inserted blade. Sidney has augmented this great stick with a nice signature including his number that’s been placed across the blade, but shows fading. An LOA from the Mario Lemieux Foundation will accompany.
