Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
An eclectic group, we have a collection of 5 hockey jerseys for your consideration, including a Kamloops Blazers example from the mid-1980s. 1) Circa-1980s CFB Borden game-worn jersey. Solid white with green accents, a Maska tag sits partially detached along the collar. Styled with screened-on numbers and team crest, the tie-neck jersey exhibits marks on the lower front and sleeves. 2) Circa 1984-85 Kamloops Blazers game-worn jersey. The collar is currently void of its former tagging, with a “Jardine’s” patch on the back bottom hem. The team crest and numbers are rubberized, with nice use showing including holes over each sleeve resulting from board burns. There is also a team repair along the back above the numbers, with the middle back section “pulled tight” around a tied-on coin. 3) 1995 Calgary Flames training camp jersey game-worn by Frank Appel. A solid red mesh number, Alpha size tagging is affixed to the collar, with Alpha appearing again on the back bottom hem. Featuring a rubberized/screened-on team crest along with “1995”, “Appel” and “48” appear heat-pressed on verso. With just light use visible including a few marks, Appel has signed the back “4”, and the signature displays well. 4) Anaheim Ducks souvenir jersey. With Starter tagging in collar, the jersey features tackle twill numbers and letters with “Tyler” across the nameplate. The jersey has a few stains and heavy pilling to the lower front. 5) Esso hockey jersey. Thin mesh number, a size tag appears along with a screened-on Hockey Canada logo over the right breast. With no numbers present, there are a few small stains beneath the collar.
