Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016

Classic Montreal Canadiens jersey was worn by Ron Flockhart during the 1984-85 season. Traded to the Canadiens by Pittsburgh in November, Flockhart took over the #29 previously worn by John Chabot - who was dealt to the Penguins - and contributed 22 points in 42 games with Montreal. A healthy scratch for most of the Canadiens' playoff series against Quebec, Flockhart had a goal and an assist in Montreal's 5-2 win that forced a seventh game. Removal of shorter nameplate means this jersey was probably worn by Chabot and redone for Flockhart's use. Fight strap is intact on this well-worn red Habs gamer that has a CCM logo embroidered on the right rear tail but no longer has tagging in the neck. Outstanding 5-inch team repair on left shoulder and more sewing fixes on the sleeves reveal great game use along with stick marks on the front tail.
