Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The current high bids for the cumulative group of sublots, $1,200.00, is currently higher than the total for the set, $0.00 (this lot is currently winning)
Gretzky, Lemieux, Jagr, Howe and Esposito all captured the Art Ross Trophy multiple times as NHL scoring champ, with the impressive award first being presented in 1948 to Montreal's Elmer Lach. This image of the trophy, surrounded by four white borders, is a coveted prize amongst serious collectors of Bee Hive photos and has survived in terrific condition. We do not spot any creases in the photo itself, while a light one-inch crease in the backing, in the lower part, is half covered by the photo. Light corner/edge wear should also not deter the enthusiasm of hobbyists looking to score.
