The sparkled green background represent the Dallas Stars’ primary team color between the eagles on either side of Ed Belfour’s 2001-02 game-worn Warwick mask. This beauty from the last of the HOF goalie’s five seasons in Dallas displays Belfour’s customary “Make-a-Wish Foundation” design over the chin, which displays a solid chip right at the bottom edge. “Custom Made by Gary E. Warwick Ed Belfour Dallas Stars 2001-2002” is handwritten in gold paint pen inside the left ear. The interior padding is present including the Velcro for the cloth forehead accessory, which is not included. “Custom Made for Ed Belfour Dallas Stars” reads the included Warwick Custom Mask zippered carrying case. Comes with Ed Belfour’s signed LOA.
Handwritten gold paint pen notation inside the left side of the chin reads “Shell #5 11/20/01”. Mask artist Ray Bishop signed and dated “2001” inside the right ear below Bishop Custom Design and his website. The internal padding has come loose from the back head-piece, which has custom graphics showcasing a 1941 Willys for Ed’s racing company that is named after his hometown of Carman, Manitoba. Dual-colour strapping coincides with the placement of the custom graphics.
