Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
What goes together better than beer and hockey? This Calgary Flames jersey was game-worn by Ed Beers circa-1984. With faded CCM laundry tag in collar and born on date tag of “84 01”, an additional large CCM logo on the back bottom hem has been screened-on. With no sign of a Centennial patch, this jersey was game-worn by Beers in either 1983-84, or 1984-85. Fashioned in tackle twill adornments including crest, name on nameplate and back and sleeve numbers, this sweater exhibits a lot of game-wear and is ready for a new home.
This Calgary Flames jersey game-worn by Ed Beers circa-1984 has a lot of visible wear from game-use including a number of large black stick marks on the lower front and both sleeves, some blue paint transfer on the lower band, and a few small holes on both elbows as well as a repaired collar. The team crest and back numbers also show wear with a few black marks present, and this garment still has its loop-style fight strap intact.
