The Albany River Rats logo comes bursting out of the forehead of Peter Sidorkiewicz’s mid-1990s game-worn Ed Cubberly goalie mask, which is featured in this lot of his equipment from the former AHL team. The distinctive mask displays game wear that includes red marks, paint chips on the chin and forehead, and red marks. It comes with its original carrying case and is included with a lot that also boasts Sidorkiewicz’s circa 1996-97 River Rats game-worn home jersey, which displays solid game wear. Rounding out the lot are Peter’s Bauer game-worn blocker and Louisville game-used stick that likely date from his time with the River Rats. Comes with Peter Sidorkiewicz’s signed LOA.
River Rats paint job adorns Sidorkiewicz’s game-worn Ed Cubberly goalie mask, which features Cubberly’s trademark “C” on each ear. The internal padding remains in place while the posts for the straps’ snap fasteners were removed from both sides of the chin. The mask comes with its original “Custom Goalie Marks, Inc. by Ed Cubberly” zippered carrying case which also contains the straps, fasteners and “Sid” backplate;
Sidorkiewicz’s circa 1996-97 AHL Albany River Rats game-worn white jersey has Bauer tagging in the back of the neck along with number “30” handwritten in black marker on a size 58G flag tag. A Pro flag tag is sewn over by nameplate stitching. Huge River Rats logo crest is sewn on the front and Bauer and AHL logos sit on the right rear tail, along with a Bauer logo on the left breast. New Jersey Devils logo patches are sewn on both shoulders. Game wear includes black marks on the front and both sleeves, with red paint transfer on the back of the right sleeve;
“Sidorkiewicz” is stamped on the shaft of Peter’s circa 1996-97 Louisville game-used stick with his original tape jobs that likely saw duty with the River Rats along with the Bauer blocker.
