Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015

Quite the story here as this jersey is photo-matched both as Patrick’s 1975-76 Scouts gamer and Andruff’s 1976-77 Rockies photo shoot jersey. Wilson size 48 and Gunzo's tagging sits in the back of the collar with a "74" year tag in the rear tail. A nice big diagonal black mark to the left of the Scouts crest is among the other solid game wear with all details, including photo-matches, on our website.
Patrick is pictured wearing this jersey during the Scouts second and final season in K.C. which is matched by distinctive black marks on the right sleeve. Andruff is pictured wearing this jersey which is matched by three marks on the right sleeve, two of which are the same as the Patrick photo match, during a Rockies photo shoot prior to their debut campaign after the franchise moved to Denver in 1976-77. The three black marks to the right of the “4” sewn on the right sleeve are matched to the action photo f Patrick wearing this No. 14 Scouts jersey. The Andruff No. 14 Rockies photo shoot picture shows the two marks immediately to the right of the “4” sewn on the right sleeve, which also show in the Patrick photo match, as well as the mark in the yellow stripe directly below the sewn on “4”. More game wear includes blue and red paint transfer on the right sleeve near the cuff and a bit more on the left sleeve, black marks on the front tail and both sleeves, a board burn with red paint transfer on the rear tail, and various holes that do not diminish this unique Scouts/Rockies jersey’s display. There is evidence of a former nameplate. The original Scouts team logo was taken off and replaced with a Rockies team logo, which you can see the outline of on the front. After the photo shoot one of the original Scouts team logo was sewn back on the jersey. The number 14 sewn on the sleeves and back are the ones from the Rockies photo shoot. You can see the outlines of the former number 14 from the Scouts jersey on the back and the sleeves.
