Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
A CFL East All-Star for three consecutive seasons from 2003-05, running back Josh Ranek has seen action with Ottawa, Saskatchewan, Hamilton and Edmonton. This Renegades jersey was worn by the South Dakota native in 2004. A year and size swatch of “03-44” sits affixed beneath the collar, with embroidered Reebok crests (sewn over Puma examples) over each sleeve and the back neckline along with a CFL Reebok cloth patch on the lower front. Adorned with dual-colour tackle twill numbers, the 2004 Grey Cup patch sits above the right breast, with residue left on the left side from the removal of the Molson patch. Great wear is exhibited on the jersey, with friction burns and resulting holes over the shoulder numbers, along with 15 team repairs. There are 9 over the right shoulder/sleeve, 3 on the left, and another 3 on the back around the numbers.
