Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
1967 was the Summer of Love, Canada’s 100th birthday, and the year Pamela Anderson was born, but for Leaf fans in particular, 1967 stands out as the year the Buds won their last Stanley Cup, when they met the Habs in the finals and hoisted the mug after 6 games. Offered is a Maple Leaf Gardens program from Tuesday, April 25, 1967, game 3 of the historic series, a game won 3-2 by the Torontonians in overtime. This classic program measures 8 ½” x 11’, with all 80 pages unmarked, intact, and complete, and with the individual 24-page middle insert featuring the unmarked lineup page. We see no tears or damage throughout, with only darkening of the edges through aging to note, along with some slight edge wear. A nice and important Leafs program, featuring the “Big M” Frank Mahovlich on the cover.
