Stellar defenseman Doug Harvey is prominent on the cover of the program for the 14th NHL All-Star Game, which featured the Montreal Canadiens, fresh off their record setting 5th straight Stanley Cup victory, matched against the top players from the rest of the League on October 1, 1960 at the Forum. The All-Stars were led by a group of young Chicago Black Hawks stars - Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Glenn Hall and Pierre Pilote, all of whom would play a role in bringing Chicago its first Stanley Cup in 23 years the following Spring. The game proved to be an exciting one, with the New York Rangers' Andy Hebenton scoring the winner shorthanded to give the All-Stars a 2-1 win. Maurice "Rocket" Richard, who retired after the 5th Cup win and had appeared in all 13 previous All Star Games, was honored in a lengthy pre-game ceremony. The program is complete and in outstanding near mint condition.
