Cool early 1980s Montreal Alouettes white mesh #20 game-worn jersey was likely worn by both wide receiver Keith Credit and running back David Overstreet. Credit, a Kent State product, wore #20 for the Als in 1980 before switching to #82 the following season when the University of Oklahoma’s Overstreet made his CFL debut in Montreal’s backfield. You can clearly see on the back of the jersey two different sizes of removed nameplates, one short one consistent with a "Credit" nameplate, and one very long consistent with an "Overstreet" nameplate. Alouettes team logos are heat screened in vinyl on the sleeves and the numbers on the front, back and both shoulders are heat-screened blue vinyl. Green-thread outline of missing tagging remains on the right front tail with yellowed stains. There are outlines of removed patches over the team logos on both sleeves, including a small red fabric remnant on that remains stitched on the left sleeve. The screened vinyl logos and numbers exhibit some cracking though very little vinyl loss. There are a pair of team repairs on the upper left back, one just to the right of the left sleeve seam and another on the top of the blue vinyl “2”. Cool piece of Alouettes history.
