The NHL 75th anniversary patch adorns the throwback All-Star game-worn jersey and pants shell worn by Kirk McLean during the 1992 classic in Philadelphia. The Vancouver Canucks goalie made his second ASG appearance in three seasons in the first ASG featuring three goalies aside. McLean followed starter Ed Belfour and Tim Cheveldae, stopping 15 of 18 shots in the third to finish off the Campbells' 10-6 win at the Spectrum on January 18, 1992. A nod to the original NHL All-Star uniforms of the late 1940s, McLean's red air-knit Campbells gamer has size 54 and Maska flag tags in the neck, the latter with the notation "PC" written on it in blue ballpoint. This lot comes with Kirk McLean's signed LOA and includes his 43rd NHL All-Star Game carry-on bag. Single-use All-Star game-worn jersey has no obvious wear to report, not unusual for its extremely light use. NHL crest and five stars on the front are sewn-on white twill, as are the numbers on the sleeves and back and surname letters on the nameplate. The fight strap remains whole and complete.
Blue CCM Supra game-worn pants shell with no internal padding features wide red stripes on the outside of each leg, each with a sewn-on CCM patch.
