Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
Fabulous gold and diamond creation was presented to right winger Jamie Leach, a 1987 Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick who skated for Rochester in '95-96, helping the Americans to their sixth Calder Cup title. It was obtained with a hard-fought seven game series victory over the Portland Pirates. Three real diamonds are incorporated into the classic Amerks logo, set onto a luscious blue stone and encircled by "Calder Cup Champions." One shank features "Leach" and Jamie's number "17" along with the Americans' 40th anniversary logo, with the AHL logo and an image of the Calder Cup on the other. Stamped "10K" on the interior of the size 10-1/2 band, the ring shows very little wear and awaits your Amerks/championship ring collection.
