Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/29/2011
From the Parkhurst company's final hockey card set of the 1960s, this wax paper wrapper is one of three versions from the '63-64 campaign and originally was wrapped around cards from a 99-card set. It mentions the special offer to obtain an autographed puck, with the actual offer to obtain a puck signed (facsimile) by Howe, B?liveau or Keon on the backs of some of the cards. Wrapper here has a close to one-inch tear descending from the upper edge, a small piece missing from the lower right corner and a crease down the middle. An absolute prerequisite to a big-time vintage wrapper stash.
