Aut Erickson's name is engraved on the Stanley Cup as a member of the 1966-67 champion Toronto Maple Leafs despite appearing in just one game of the final against the Montreal Canadiens and no regular season games. Erickson, who appeared in 226 regular season games throughout the 1960s with Boston, Chicago and the expansion Oakland/California Seals, was presented with this engraved Birks Eterna-Matic watch as a gift from the city following the team's Stanley Cup victory parade. "Presented by the City of Toronto to Aut Erickson, Maple Leaf Hockey Team, The Stanley Cup World Hockey Champions, City Hall, May 5, 1967" is engraved on the watch's backplate along with Toronto mayor William Dennison's facsimile signature. A fascinating original item from the Maple Leafs' last Stanley Cup win.
