741 NHL regular season goals... 'nuff said. Brett Hull's move to Motor City midway through the 2002-03 season set the stage for another chance at a milestone... his first goal in the uniform of the Detroit Red Wings. And so it was, on March 2, 2003 at 10:40 of the second period against the Phoenix Coyotes when the actual puck found its way from the sticks of teammates Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg over to Hull, who sealed the deal for his first-ever Detroit Red Wings goal. The details of the marker are listed in full in ink across a swatch of white cloth tape and Hull has signed the logo side of the milestone puck in silver Sharpie. Comes complete with a certificate of authenticity from Hockeytown Authentics, the official team store of the Detroit Red Wings.[red]Addendum : This puck is not from Brett Hull's first goal as a Red Wing. The "Detroit 1st Goal" notation written on the puck refers to the first goal of this particular game. Brett joined the Red Wings at the start of the 2001-02 season and scored 30 goals during that campaign. Although the puck does not represent any significant milestone as claimed in the catalog description, it remains a rare and important memento from Hull's incredible goal-laden career.[/red]
