Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010

Glorious vintage style All-Star game jersey was worn by Hall of Fame defenceman Paul Coffey during the 43rd annual NHL All-Star Game in Philadelphia. The subject of trade rumors surrounding the showcase game that had him being traded by Pittsburgh to the Flyers, Coffey was ultimately dealt by the Penguins one month later ? to Los Angeles!, where he was reunited with Wayne Gretzky, who had led the Campbell Conference to a 10-6 win over Coffey's Wales All-Stars at the Spectrum on January 18, 1992. A Maska Ultrafil tag and a size 52 fly tag are in the neck while an embroidered NHL 75th anniversary patch is sewn on the front. All other patches, numbers and "Coffey" across the nameplate are sewn on in tackle twill. The fight strap remains intact on this fabulous NHL All-Star Game jersey, a great throwback look worn by a true legend of the game.
