Wondrous creation by the folks at Jostens pays tribute to Henri Richard and his wondrous career with the Montreal Canadiens. The number 16 that Henri proudly wore for 20 years is front and center on the tableau and includes 18 diamonds. Set onto a large red stone, it is encircled by the Pocket Rocket's name in sloping letters, along with "1955" (the year of his first game with the Habs) and his retirement year of "1975". One shank has a raised "358 Career Goals", while engraving on hockey stick blades below references Richard's Hall of Fame induction year (1979), his record 11 Stanley Cups as a player, the Masterton Trophy he was awarded in 1974 (for dedication to hockey) and his selections to NHL All-Star teams. The opposite side features an image of the old Montreal Forum before its renovation in 1968, Henri's facsimile signature above and the date his #16 jersey was retired in 1975 below. Richard's signature also is engraved on the interior of the band of the size 10 ring which is stamped "Jostens 10K". This limited edition ring is numbered 2 out of 10. A large flip-top wooden display/storage box (approximately 5" by 6" by 4" high) includes a golden facsimile signature and Henri Richard will also sign a letter of authenticity to be included with this striking ring, in pristine condition.
