Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Game used Mario Lemieux stick dates from the late 1980s, when Le Magnifique put an end to Wayne Gretzky's perennial ownership of the Art Ross and Hart trophies and emerged as a hockey megastar in his own right. Substantial Koho gamer with "Lemieux" stamped on the shaft offers testimony to Mario's imposing size and magnificent reach. Black bulldog tape remains on the blade as well as on Lemieux's distinctive knob. Fantastic display piece exhibits really nice game wear with no significant flaw to report. A must-have for any Lemieux/Hall of Fame stick collection.
