Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Left winger Brad Zavisha toiled for two seasons down on “The Rock” in Cape Breton for a chance to appear in only two games up with the Edmonton Oilers between 1993-94 and 1994-95. This blue and orange airknit, made by CCM, is a hand-me-down from Edmonton and now sports the AHL's Cape Breton Oilers crest on the front with a screened "Zavisha" nameplate above the back numbers. A Maska tag appears in the neck and the NHL shield is screened onto the hem beside the CCM logo, a hint that the shirt was at one point intended to be used by the parent club. Nice wear with numerous board burns and marks to go with three team repair patches. A treat is the number "11" on the back and arms, a number now retired by the Edmonton Oilers in tribute to the great Mark Messier.
