Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Netminder Andrew Raycroft picked up a win and a tie wearing this old-school Boston game jersey, part of the National Hockey League's tribute to the 1967-68 Bruins and five other Original Six teams of the past. The tie-neck style uniform, from the NHL's Vintage series, was worn by Raycroft on December 16th, 2003 against Habs (1-1 tie) and again on January 19th, 2004 vs. Rangers for a 5-2 Bruins win. Tagged by CCM in size 58 (Goalie Style), the shirt sports the MeiGray inventory tag in the lower rear hem. Game wear is lighter, as expected, but some great red post paint appears on one arm and the crest sports some black stick or puck marks. The league's golden "V" patch sewn onto the right breast is a treat! Comes complete with a package of authenticating documents from the NHL-MeiGray Game Worn Jersey Program.
