Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - October 2007
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/23/2007
For a while part of an excellent duo with Rejean Lemelin, Andy Moog
gave Boston five solid seasons, wearing this white air-knit Bruins
home jersey during 1991-92. Maska and size 54 tags are in the neck
and screening on the inner rear hem indicates a “2nd Set” jersey.
Featuring the NHL 75th anniversary patch, the jersey shows good game
use with half a dozen puck marks and a few snags (front), a 1-inch
slice (upper white stripe – right sleeve) and pilling (right cuff).
With customized shortened sleeves, the jersey was autographed in
black sharpie on the back, with Andy personalizing it “Tommy, All the
best” and adding his number “35”. Formidable goalie shirt
was donned by a three-time Stanley Cup champion who racked up 372 NHL
regular season wins. Will come with an LOA from Spirit of the Game.
