Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - March 2007
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/27/2007
Marvelous memento was originally presented to left winger Larry Keenan for his efforts in helping the St. Louis Blues to their second straight Western Division regular season title in 1969-70. The Blues finished a whopping 22 points ahead of second place Pittsburgh and Keenan then had a great playoff with seven goals and 13 points as St. Louis reached the Stanley Cup finals. This personal miniature Clarence Campbell Bowl trophy stands just under 11" high and has been restored to its original splendor by the Boffey company. The year, the team's name and that of Keenan are engraved on one side, while the name of the trophy and its year of inception (1968) appear on the other. From a wonderful time when hockey-mad St. Louis fans cheered their heroes like no others in the league!
