Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - March 2007

Another killer WHA offering, this white, purple and black Cleveland Crusaders tie-neck style jersey is a Rawlings durene with size “48” on the company tag in the neck. Nice chain-stitching and tackle twill is responsible for the cool Crusaders crest and the outline of removed letters above the “27” on the back spells out “Buetow”. That would be Brad Buetow who suited up for 25 games with Cleveland in ‘73-74. Light game use as expected with a few marks, light staining along the front and back hems and puckering on the sleeves, mostly the left one. If you have missed this team/style in the past, now’s your chance.
