The Elmer Lach Auction - October 2006
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/24/2006
Stunning minor league jersey is a Wilson durene affair with size “46” appearing on the company tag in the neck. The top farm team of the California Golden Seals, the Salt Lake Golden Eagles were members of the Western Hockey League when goaltender Ray Martyniuk suited up briefly for the team in 1972-73, explaining the little wear on this beauty. “Eagles” across the front and the “1”s on the back and sleeves are in tackle twill and sewn-on. A few small pills in the elbow regions and a faint black mark in the gold on the front, near the upper white stripe and left seam, are to mention here. With vibrant colors including a snowy white neckline, this one is, like we said at the start, stunning.
