A four-time NHL All-Star, Brian Bellows was drafted 2nd overall behind Gord Kluzak in 1982, and played for five different NHL clubs throughout his lengthy career. Named to three (3) NHL All-Star contests and a Stanley Cup champion in 1993 as a member of the Montreal Canadiens, offered here is this Habs jersey donned by Bellows during his first season in "La Belle Province" of 1992-93. Made by CCM, both size "54" and Maska Ultrafil labels are affixed to the inner collar while CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the famed "CH" crest of Les Canadiens in layered tackle twill, the 1993 NHL All-Star Game event patch has been added over an extra piece of material and then affixed over top of the 1991-92 season's NHL 75th anniversary patch that resides over the right breast. Of note, nobody wore the number "23" during the 1991-92 season and Bellows was the first to wear the number since the legendary Bob Gainey retired in 1989. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Bellows' number "23" in dual layer blue-over-red tackle twill numerals, "Bellows" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting just overall light game-wear, light stick marks are observed over the lower front, the reverse and both sleeves with light board burns over both arm coverings as well. Additionally, an unrepaired cut is present near the right cuff and pilling is seen along the reverse hem line and on the interior. Finally, a handful of spot stains are found throughout as well. An LOA will accompany the piece.
