Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Familiar to viewers of TSN and the NHL Network, Bob Errey spent the bulk of his NHL career with Pittsburgh and Detroit, winning Cups with the former in 1991 and ’92. This Red Wings jersey was worn by the Montreal native in 1994-95. CCM, size and Eastside tagging remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM patches on the back bottom hem. Styled with tackle twill numbers and letters, the jersey features the iconic winged wheel team crest with the back name letters placed directly onto the sweater. The team stamp sits on the inside hem, and the Detroit team store price tag is still attached to the collar, but it's been partially torn.
Game-wear on the garment consists of a number of dark marks on the lower front and sleeves, along with board burns along the lower and upper sections of the right sleeve. There are also two tiny team repairs, with one example on the front, the other on the left sleeve.
