Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016

Flyers fans were in their glory at the 1976 NHL All-Star Game at the old Spectrum in Philadelphia. With back-to-back Stanley Cup titles, the Flyers were soaring with the likes of bruising defenseman Andre “Moose” Dupont giving opponents the “Philadelphia flu” when it came time to face the Broad Street Bullies. Dupont’s white Campbell Conference All-Stars game-worn jersey was worn on January 20, 1976 when he was one of six hometown Flyers to play for HOF coach Fred Shero’s all-star squad in Philadelphia. The American Revolution Bicentennial patch sits on the left shoulder of this beauty that comes with Moose Dupont’s signed LOA.
Surname letters are individually sewn directly onto the jersey and “Gerry Cosby” tagging sits in the back of the neck. There are various pinholes on this fantastic NHL All-Star Game jersey, including on the cuffs, tails and shoulders, likely from the jersey having possibly being previously framed, as are possibly a few black marks on the tails.
