Originally drafted 110th overall by the New York Rangers in 1995, Alexei Vasiliev would play most of his career in the pro leagues of his native Russia but experience NHL life for a single game during the 1999-2000 season and play in North America with Rangers affiliates between 1998 and 2001. A long-time member of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in both the Russian Super League and Kontinental Hockey League, offered her is this New York Rangers “Lady Liberty” third jersey that was issued to Vasiliev during the 1998-99 season. Made by Starter and featuring the brand's Center Ice Authentic Collection label affixed to the collar above a size "54-R" swatch that is found present underneath, the logos of both Starter and the NHL shield are embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a gorgeous Rangers Statue of Liberty team crest that sports both textured and embroidered details throughout, the white V-neck has been embellished with Vasiliev's number "13" in tri-layer drop shadow tackle twill numerals while matching alternate logo shield patches have been placed over both shoulders. Having had "Vasiliev" spelt out in matching style tri-layer drop shadow tackle twill letters that have been affixed directly to the jersey in a gentle arch, a Rangers team tag denoting the jersey as being a "1998-1999 Season - Set 2 - Game Jersey" offering is sewn inside the reverse hem alongside a MeiGray tag as well. Issued but never worn, the jersey exhibits no signs of game-wear and remains in good condition with some spot stains throughout and pills around the collar.
