National rock gods as the best-selling Canadian band in Canada for two decades, The Tragically Hip were formed in historic Kingston, and released 13 studio albums throughout their tenure. With the tragic loss of frontman Gord Downie to cancer in 2017, the group no longer performs under the band name. Offered here, is this collection consisting of a copy of the group’s first live album “Live Between Us” that has been signed by all five (5) members, a letter written by Paul Langlois to our consignor and a ticket from the November 23rd, 1996 concert at Cobo Arena in Detroit that the album was recorded at. Starting with the album, all five members of the band including Downie, Baker, Langlois, Sinclair and Fay have signed on the inside cover in gold ink with all the autographs displaying well and without issue. Personalized to our consignor in matching gold ink above the signatures, everything remains in excellent condition with just light wear while the CD exhibits just light scratches. The letter from Langlois, scribbled in blue ballpoint pen to our consignor talks about a previous interaction between the two and remains in good condition as well. The ticket stub, torn at the right side, comes housed in its original box office envelope with the backstage pass affixed over the top. Accompanied by a JSA Auction LOA, don't miss out on this excellent piece of Canadiana!
