The third installment of the popular international tournament, the 1984 Canada Cup featured six nations competing including West Germany who made their first and only appearance, with Canada defeating Sweden in the best-of-three final. Wayne Gretzky’s 12 points would top scorers, and we offer a signed stick originally issued to the iconic legend for the tournament. A Titan “Canada Cup” model with “W. Gretzky” boldly stamped over the lower shaft and “99” handwritten, there is also a date code of “Aout 29 1984” on the underside, with “WG” handwritten in pencil along the top edge of the heel section. Wayne has placed a gorgeous thick and dark black marker signature to the front side blade along with a personalization. The stick itself exhibits some storage and age wear, with the striping accent intact, and a bit of dirt staining to the underside of the handle.
