The only Canada Cup to feature a team from West Germany, the 1984 tournament included six hockey nations, with Canada defeating a skilled Swedish squad in the best-of-three final. Wayne Gretzky led all tournament scorers, finishing with 12 points including 5 goals in 8 games. This limited-edition “1984 Canada Cup” lithograph by artist Steven Csorba has been signed by The Great One. At 18” x 24” and picturing Wayne head down, in his Team Canada uniform, the artist has signed over the bottom right, while Gretzky has added a large and flowing pencil signature over the bottom left. Affixed with corner mounts to an attractive royal blue matte at full dimensions of approx 21 ¼” x 26 ¾”, the limited-edition number of “217/250” has been placed by Csorba’s signature, with just a quality frame needed for completion. Addendum; According to new information received, this lithograph would be for the 1981 Canada Cup.
