Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Now serving as its most prestigious member, Wayne Gretzky once stated about the storied venue that, “As a kid, 12 and 13 years old, I used to sneak down to the Hockey Hall of Fame. There was a guy that would let me go in. I used to just stand there for hours and stare." Celebrating his induction to the house of holy in 1999, we have a framed limited-edition Hall of Fame lithograph by artist Daniel Parry, signed by the one and only Wayne Gretzky. At approx 24” x 26” (exposed), the litho features a gorgeous representation of the superstar in his Rangers uniform, with a number of career images serving as background. Wayne has signed along the center base in pencil, with the artist and the President of the HOF (Jeffery D. Denomme) also signing, with the limited-edition number of “HHOF 88/999” placed over the bottom left. Triple-matted and framed to full dimensions of approx 36 ½” x 40 ½”, a COA will accompany, and please note that due to the size and/or weight, special shipping arrangements may be required.
