The end of an era and a closing chapter in hockey’s greatest career, Wayne Gretzky would hang up his famous skates for a final time at the conclusion of the 1998-99 NHL season, with New York Rangers supporters and the hockey world at large mourning the loss. This signed framed display pays tribute to The Great One and his greatest of great careers. Two approx 12” x 15” photos of the superstar during his farewell skate at MSG have been inserted, with a Rangers Lady Liberty emblem above and a metal plaque beneath listing the particular, including “Wayne Gretzky waving farewell”, and “April 18, 1999”. Wayne has signed the top photo in silver, adding “1999”, with the large signature flawless. Each item has been attractively matted, framed to approx 24 ½” x 30 ½”. Holograms have been affixed including from WGA, with a COA to accompany.
