Winning consecutive Stanley Cup championships with Detroit in 1997 and 1998, Vyacheslav Kozlov enjoyed an especially lengthy hockey career that spanned well over two decades, with numerous tournaments spent representing Russia. This signed and photo-matched Thrashers jersey was worn by the Voskresensk native in 2005-06, his third season in Georgia. A label with “52” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests over the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with a large and attractive multi-coloured Thrashers team crest, “31” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Atlanta” running down the left sleeve. Kozlov has signed the reverse “1” in black marker, with “100787” handwritten over the fight strap. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
The jersey shows light game use, with a few random dark marks visible including beneath the team crest, with some pilling over the front band. Getty Image #56279446 (November 26, 2005) has been matched to the exact placement of the Reebok patch on the back collar in correlation with the mesh holes and to details of the patch itself. The same image also shows the loose yellow thread on the upper edge of the reverse "3", with a few loose threads on the letters "OV" at the end of "Kozlov" on the nameplate also visible in the image.
