Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
A thorn in the side of Team Canada during the historic Summit Series in 1972, netminder Vladislav Tretiak won numerous gold medals for his Russian homeland throughout his career including at the Canada Cup, World Championships and Winter Olympics. Obtained directly from the HOFer in 1983-84 – his final season, we have his signed KOHO goal stick. A Pro Superflex model, “Tretjak” appears stamped-on, with the preferred model retaining its original tape over the blade and knob, with signs of former tape removed from a section of the handle. With the striping sticker intact over the paddle, nice use is exhibited with wear including some chipping along the heel section, with additional chipping to edges along the paddle. Vladislav has signed over the handle in ballpoint, and the signature displays well.
