Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Highlighted by a 1950s Montreal Canadiens equipment bag with vintage style logo made for a youth, this lot offers a number of neat misc items including a desirable 1945-46 Parade Sportive album (Canadiens' player photos), 40 McDonalds Team Canada pucks from 2000 (Gretzky, Lemieux, Sakic and others), a 1927-28 La Patrie picture of Leonard Gaudreault (low grade), a framed NHL team bottle cap collection from 2010, the first issue of Beckett from 1990 (Gretzky cover), 4 vintage Wayne Gretzky pillowcases, a framed 1920s La Presse picture of Herb Gardiner, a Gretzky “Puppet Kooler” in the original box, a pair of Habs bobble heads (Beliveau and Koivu), 4 misc books/magazines including the hard cover “Maurice Richard, Reluctant Hero”, 5 unopened 2003 McDonalds Steve Yzerman mini-jerseys, a set of 6 2003 McDonalds Trophies plus an extra Stanley Cup, and more! The equipment bag shows heavy use with toning to the canvas material and some dirt staining, with a tear as well as fraying along the opening. The Parade Sportive booklet is solid and complete, with heavy wear to the covers and rusting to the staples. The McDonalds' pucks remain sealed, with the majority of the remaining items in the collection showing light wear.
