For those fans of the vintage gridiron, we offer a nice mix of football items ranging from the 1900s to 1970s, totaling approx 20, with a few additional baseball items included along with a rare 1920s basketball pin. First, we have a rarely seen Eskimos mini pennant from the 1950s (13”), with screened-on player, followed by a Bombers mini pennant from the same era (11”), a large oversized “ECSSA Football Champs” pennant from the 1920s/30s (32” with 14” tassels, with a number missing denoting the year), 2 vintage 1930s photos of youths playing (both 8” x 10”), a 1920s/30s childs notebook with football photo cover (7” x 9 ½”), rosters for the 1961 and 1962 Saskatchewan Roughriders with their original pictorial envelopes, a 1935 Syracuse college football program (vs Cornell, light to moderate wear), and a 1958 Bombers CFL program (vs Saskatchewan, light to moderate wear). Next, we have a 1962 Post Cereal CFL card album (11” x 12 ½”, moderate to heavier wear, with all the cards removed and glue residue remaining on most pages), a 1971 CFL album (11” x 13”, unused, with light wear), a 1930s “Kik” soft drink bottle with football player image punting (12”, with wear to the graphics), a 1940s “Pembina” football pinback with leather helmet player (3”), a 1938 Navy vs Columbia college football ticket stub, a rare 1950 Blue Bombers “Quarterback Club” membership card, a 1930s composition football doll (8”), with an NYU football pin affixed, a 1905 Harvard football female postcard, and a 1940s Iowa college football pinback with attached ribbon/football. Rounding out the lot ideal for any dealer, we have a 1960s Spalding baseball in the original box (moderate wear to the baseball and light wear to the box), a 1920s “Caledon Club” basketball pinback with attached “Committee” ribbons (1 ¼”) and a group of seven 1950s MLB pins (3/4”, Cleveland, Boston, Brooklyn, St Louis, Washington, Cincinnati and Detroit).
